Alas and alack, due to various state holidays and DC holidays, the REAL end of tax season is April 18– Monday! (Or you can extend until October 15 — but get your form 4868 in by the 18th April!). [This is only this year — the normal end is April 15, but holidays, weekends, apocalypses, can add a day or two or three to the normal date.]
However, since we are accountants, we will celebrate the end of tax season both today and the 18 (lol).
