St. Andrew, feast day November 30, is the patron saint of Scotland, of sailors and singers (makes sense), and of a few other countries.
He is NOT the saint invoked for protection against water hazards and pothole bunkers.

Romania, and Russia. The Russian Navy used to fly a version of the Cross Saltaire (the Scottish flag) until the Revolutions came.
