January ’21 State of the Author

Searching the swamp for the drain plug . . .

Learnedly Familiar is with beta readers and I’ll start working through the edits soon.

M-Familiar is at 55K words. All I need is time.

“A Wolf of the World” is coming along.

Once I get M-Familiar done, I will pick up the Merchant book again. I know where it is going, I just need time.

I’ve got a few other ideas on the back burner at the moment. It looks as if I will not be traveling much this spring and summer, so I should be able to get a fair amount of writing done.

I also need to go through books 5 and 6 of the Familiar series and get them to the formatting and cover person for hard copy. I apologize for the high price of the books, but I’m pricing them as low as Amazon will let me.

    • I don’t know. I have a possible folk-lore book, and a short story started, but I’m having trouble getting back into that mental world.

  1. All I need is time.

    Young Wizard: “I guess I’ll make tim……….”

Old Wizard: “Do Not Every Try To Do That!”.

  2. Time. This word you use, you act as if you might be familiar with the concept. Are there people around who can describe the experience of “having sufficient time”, and do so without lying through their teeth?

    — Asking for a friend. 🙂

  3. I have to admit, I have time. I have the same 24 hours in a day that everyone else does. Now, fitting everything into that time, and having enough energy to get it done?
    Ay, there’s the rub.
