Those of us who were alive and old enough, know where we were nineteen years ago today.
Forgive? Eventually, perhaps, since my faith commands it. Forget? Oh heck no.

Amen!
Serpents and scorpions are what they are. Cursing them for their venom and carrying hatred towards them because of their nature serves no good purpose.
But denying their nature and their venom is worse.

May the false prophet burn in hell, and may his followers repent before they face judgement.
We don’t have to hate vermin. We just have to keep them away from our homes, and kill the ones that try to get in.
Agreed. Hating vermin is a waste of energy; they don’t deserve that kind of emotional investment. Deal with them the same as with rabid animals: kill them because of the danger they pose to innocents. There’s really no more to it than that.
Part of sincere repentance is making sure someone doesn’t commit the same sin again. So….
Great songs.
And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle’s confusion
A home and a country would leave us no more?
Their blood has washed out their foul footsteps’ pollution!
And nothing could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave.
And the Star Spangled Banner in triumph shall wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
