The 9th Colplatschki book, set just after Elizabeth and Empire is now at 30,000 words and is starting to flow. Pjtor Adamson is a challenging character to get sorted out, but he’s passed his first major hurdle. Now he just has to take over the throne that is rightfully his . . . The story takes place in NovRodi, on the other side of the sea from the western coast of the continent where Frankonia, the Eastern Empire, and the Sea Republics are found.
The next Cat prequel, Renaissance is in late cover design and should be out by the end of the month. It also includes a bonus Rada ni Drako story.
I’m planning a four-story set of dragon-related short stories for April, with the next Cat Among Dragons book set for late May, and the first of the WW I books for early August, perhaps on the 102nd anniversary of the start of the First Battle of the Marne.
When will the next Colplatschki book be released? I’m thinking late in 2016, with a WW I book and then another Cat Among Dragons to follow.
There are a few other projects simmering, plus a backlog of books ready for publishing, more-or-less.
